Targeted, small group or 1:1 tuition delivered by HLTA in intervention role. 1 day per week.	To improve the basic numeracy skills. To use detailed numeracy programme and assessment of learning to target and improve student understanding.	25% of salary

Tutor time, small group reading and writing support delivered by specialist Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HTLA) and SENDCO (Dyslexia specialist) 30 minutes per week	To improve literacy levels of pupil through working on vocabulary development, comprehension, readings skills and phonological training	25% of salary
Buddy Reading Scheme – Year 7 students are buddied with a Year 10 student. 30 minutes per week.	To improve the reading age and confidence of students in peer to peer support	£200
