School Uniform
As we approach the colder weather, students, when taking part in PE, can wear black or navy leggings or black jogging bottoms which are fitted and cuffed at the bottom. Students are not permitted to wear flared leggings or wide leg jogging bottoms. Students can wear a black long sleeved base layer under their PE kit.
Students should have the SHS Zipped PE top as a required branded item and this must be worn for all PE sessions.
This applies to the Enrichment days for Years 7, 8, and 9.
Girls
- Navy blazer with Southlands School logo*
- Navy Jumper (optional)
- Southlands School Tie*
- White shirt
- Southlands pleated kilt skirt with blue stripe or navy (non-stretch) trousers
- Navy/black opaque tights or plain navy knee socks with a skirt
- Navy or black ankle socks with trousers
- Plain, dark coloured coat
- School bag
Boys

**Shoes should be formal all black leather (or leatherlike)**
No trainers or shoes such as VANS, Converse, Reebok, or similar. No shoes with coloured stripes, logos or soles
*Southlands branded items can be purchased from NuUniforms , Market Street, Chorley but families are welcome to purchase from other providers but these items must comply with our uniform standards
